Schema is a creative collective based out of the Claremont Colleges dedicated to funding independent student projects, providing a space for critique and collaboration, and putting on alternative art events based on the individual and collaborative work of its members.
As a co-founder and active member, I've been involved with staging large-scale multimedia events (live music, dj/dance music, video projection, artwork, installation, performance), hosting and facilitating workshops, setting and allotting funds for proposed projects and events, moderating weekly meetings, managing social media outlets, and bringing speakers to campus.

Hackython
The Hackython was organized as a response to the lack of true "hacking" and hacky sacks at the annual 5C Hackathon. Those who were not experienced coders or didn't want to stay up all night competing for VR goggle could instead participate in lectures, presentations, and activities throughout the night consisting of playful experimentation with bizarre technologies and friendly games of hackysack.
