Set up at a gallery event with contributions by guests

Changes in the political and social climate led me to focus on two facets of my art practice: sustaining a regular studio practice in sculpture and installation work as a way to process concepts and material on an individual level, and developing a relational practice that engages with a broader community on a social level.

this was a diy project with two primary goals:

  1. serving a unique variety of made-to-order coffee
  2. creating a public interface for a moving, temporary space that supports collaboration and engagement with a broad range of creative expression

Coffee included a variety of single-origin beans from Klatch Coffee

Through conversation and collaboration over the simple act of drinking a cup of coffee, this was a personally fulfilling experience that served as a refreshing, unique gesture for fellow artists and the general public in otherwise largely confusing, uncertain, and troubled times.
